When you’re getting ready for your night out, venues can update their in-app listing with all the event info you need, exclusive deals for PubCheckIn users and even spontaneous offers for when you arrive. PubCheckIn ensures that you’ll never miss a trick again.
We believe if you’re going to have to carry an ID, carry it an app, cheaply, safely and securely, but then stuff it full of info and money saving deals.

HOW ARE YOU VALIDATED?
We have implemented a highly secure method of verifying your age and identity. We’ve teamed up with Europe’s premier Identity & Data Intelligence agency. You complete a straightforward online application at www.pubcheckin.com. Once we’re all happy that you are definitely who you say you are, and you are over 18 years of age, the venues we work with are happy too.
Next, you upload a great selfie, and your unique identifying QR code is created, ready to access in your PubCheckIn app.
Validation costs £12 and then the PubCheckIn app
is free to download.
You are ready to present your ID at participating venues.


THE PUBCHECKIN ID APP REQUIRES 2 PHONES


HERE’S THE SECURE, TWO-PHONE MAGIC:
• Venues register with us free of charge and download the business side of the app.
• They open our QR code reader on the
‘business’ side of the PubCheckIn app.
• You show your unique QR code ID at the door.
• Venue staff scan your QR code using their phone.
• Your photo and age are clearly displayed on
their phone screen.
• They press ‘ACCEPT’ and in you go. Easy!

WHERE’S THE SECURITY?
• No personal data is held in the PubCheckIn app on your phone. Your photo and name are not accessible or visible on your PubCheckIn ID.
• If you lose or change your iPhone, you can securely download your ID onto another phone. We don’t want to see you stranded without your ID late at night.
• If someone borrows or takes your iPhone and presents your unique identifying PubCheckIn QR code at a venue, it is your photo that will appear on the venues phone, not a picture of the person who is in possession of your phone.
• Your photo can only be changed following a video call during office hours with PubCheckIn.
• Your PubCheckIn account is connected to your Facebook account. Your Facebook must be running on your device in order to log in your PubCheckIn QR code.
• Venue staff reserve the right to deny access if they have reasonable doubt that someone has compromised an ID account.
• Venue staff can run two different ‘double-checks’ on any customer to prove the validity of any account. This is carried out with the co-operation of the genuine account holder and is an extra security measure. (No personal or private data is compromised at any time).
• Venue staff always have the last say. Production of a PubCheckIn ID does not automatically guarantee entry.
